The Highway Press was a full service Screen Print shop for 15 years in Detroit. Originally located just north of the I 75 and I 94 interchange the name Highway was an obvious choice. The Highway Press established itself as a shop that would complete high quality orders in the most efficient manor, using the latest techniques at a fair price and always ON TIME! Textile Customers ranged from area, restaurants, bars, record labels, designers, and retail outlets to large national corporations. Fine art collectable screen prints were primarily printed for International Galleries with the addition of the local Dally in the Alley Poster each year. The Gas Mask logo originally chosen as a mark to identify the Solvent based inks used in the fine art process has found its way on to many favorite T shirts and continues as a Detroit icon.
As of January 2011 The Highway Press is only taking Graphic Design and very limited Fine Art Hand Pulled Screen Printed or Giclee jobs.
Thank You!!! - To all the employees customers and vendors that make Detroit a great place!
